Claim your Macabre key

Backed Macabre on Kickstarter and completed your PledgeBox survey? Enter the details below exactly as you used them on Kickstarter and in the survey to see your key.

Use the email address on the Kickstarter account you backed Macabre with, exactly as it is on Kickstarter. It's the same address PledgeBox emails you at. A different email won't match, even if it forwards to the same inbox.
This is your Kickstarter backer number: just the number, without the #, like 183. You'll find it in your "You just backed Macabre" email. Or on Kickstarter, go to Backed projects, click the + next to Macabre, and it's at the bottom of Backing details. View pledge on the Macabre page gets you there too.
It starts with PBID. To find it, log in to the PledgeBox backer portal, open Campaigns Pledged, click View on Macabre, and it's at the top of your order.

Your other Kickstarter rewards

Cosmetics (skins, charms, pets and packs) aren't claimed on this page. You pick them up through PledgeBox, and they're PC only. You can unlock more cosmetics in game by completing Subrifts.

How to claim them, step by step
  1. Log in to the PledgeBox backer portal with the email you used for your Kickstarter pledge. Your pledged campaigns are listed there.
  2. Find MACABRE: Stealth Extraction Horror and click View.
  3. Click Get download link. PledgeBox emails you a verification code that's good for 24 hours. If it doesn't turn up, wait for the countdown, click again and check your spam or junk folder.
  4. Enter the code in the portal and open Download Digital Products. Click Codes next to each item and copy the key.
  5. In Steam, open the Games menu, choose Activate a Product on Steam and paste the key in.

Before you copy a key

  • Each key works once. After you've viewed or copied it, it can't be retrieved or replaced, so be careful with it.
  • You can share a key with a mate, but it only activates on one Steam account, one time.
  • Some keys unlock a single item, like a hat. Others unlock a whole pack, like the Riftwalker or Hunter Pack.
